On Tuesday we went to visit a kindergarten, where we as future doctors and dentist tried to familiarize children with the "white lab cote" and show them that they mustn't be afraid of it. This was the purpose of our visit. This event was created by MMDSZ ( Marosvásárhelyi Magyar Diák Szövetség, Marosvásárhelyi Hungarian Student Association) and it goes under the name of "Teddy Maci Kórház". This year we decided to take part in this amazing event. I truly loved it, and hope I can take part in more events like this.
We (students) dressed up in our lab cotes and geared ourselves up with masks, gloves, stethoscopes, prescription paper and teeth model on which we showed the children how to brush there teeth. The children bought their sick teddy bears and we had to heal them, some had their legs broken and we bandaged them or others had headaches and we prescribed them medication. The children had the chance to use the stethoscopes and get use to it. One little girl was so afraid of it,but at the end she used it on her teddy bear, and was so excited. They were so cute and so curious, they really enjoyed it.
Have an amazing day!
