Finally, we post about Christmas! Since the 1st of December all we can see on social medias and blogs are christmassy posts, collaborations and so on. We decided to make something different, and show you how we prepare for this wonderful time of the year. Not all of us have a full month time to decorate our tree, buy presents, and bake millions of different cakes/cookies. So for the practical people or for the ones who leave everything to the last minute, here is a really easy recipe for gingerbread. It is the only thing we bake because it is easy and in two hours you are done! Except if you take thousand of photos like we did, than you will need a full day, hehe! So let's start!

You’ll need:
500 g flour
250 g honey
250 g sugar (or 25 pcs of sweetener)
100 g margarine
1 egg
5 g cinnamon
5 g cloves
1 tbs baking powder

Mix together all of the ingredients. Be prepared, it will get really messy!

Use a rolling pin to flatten out your dough.

Use your Christmas cutters and cut out the different shapes you want. Place them on the baking tray. If you don't have baking paper, you can use some margarine and flour to prepare it before putting on the cookies. That is how we always do it!
* If you cannot find cute cutters in your town, get creative! Use glasses to cut out different sizes of round cookies, and voila, you have your own snowman!

Before putting the tray in the oven, don't forget to put some eggs on the top of the cookies!  Preheat the oven to 200 degrees of Celsius, and put the cookies in for 15 minutes.

Better make it 10 if you don't want to end up with cookies like ours, hehe! We used 3D shaped cookie cutters, so we had to assemble them. But you can also put them on your coffee mug!

And Kinga's fave moment, decorating the cookies! Just go crazy with it! If you don't have a decorating syringe, just use a regular one. You can find one in the drug store for pennies.

Happy baking!

Saci & Kinga
