Hey everyone! I have finally a few hours to edit a travel diary for you guys! If you've been following me on Instagram you might have seen that I spent a week in Germany. I visited my friend in Heidelberg and decided to do three travel diaries for you guys! First up, I want to show you the beautiful medieval city of Heidelberg. It is situated on the river Neckar, and it is close to Frankfurt. It is worldwide known for its old University (founded in 1386!!!), today being the home of students from all around the world. It is also a touristic place because of its beautiful castle and old city. My fave part about it is the fact that you can easily get around with a bike, because there are no hills in the central area, and drivers are really careful and cautious, always giving priority to the bikers. If you visit Heidelberg, don't forget to try out Schneeball (a yummy pastry you can enjoy with a cup of coffee), Heidelberges studentenkuss (specific chocolate that has been hand made since 1863 in this city) and Schnaps a strong alcoholic drink.
Hope you enjoyed this post! See you soon!
